Highpass Filter Cuts Loss From 2.9 to 16.0 GHz

Mini-Circuits’ model HFCG-2750+ is a highpass filter with low-loss passband of 2.9 to 16.0 GHz. It provides typically 36-dB rejection from DC to 1 GHz and typically 34-dB rejection from 1 to 2 GHz. Loss in the transition band around 2.75 GHz is typically 3 dB. The typical passband insertion loss is 2.0 dB from 2.9 to 3.1 GHz, 1.4 dB from 3.1 to 3.5 GHz, 1.0 dB from 3.5 to 14.0 GHz, and 1.0 dB from 14.0 to 16.0 GHz. The typical VSWR is 1.50:1 from 2.9 to 16.0 GHz. The RoHS-compatible highpass filter is supplied in a ceramic surface-mount 0805 package measuring just 0.079 × 0.049 in. (2.00 × 1.25 mm) but capable of handling input power levels as high as 2.5 W. It has an operating temperature range of -55 to +100°C.
