Mini-Circuits’ model KB-KB50+ is a coaxial adapter built on a bulkhead frame for use with rack-mount equipment and laboratory test equipment. It provides 2.92-mm female input and output connectors with wide frequency range of DC to 40 GHz for mating with SMA, K, and 3.5-mm coaxial connectors. The rugged 50-Ω adapter features a stainless-steel body and low insertion loss of 0.15 dB DC to 40 GHz and only 0.13 dB at 20 GHz. The typical VSWR is 1.06:1 or less from DC to 40 GHz and only 1.05:1 at 20 GHz. The RoHS-compliant adapter is only 0.87 in. (22.2 mm) long and maintains flat frequency response across the 40-GHz bandwidth. It is qualified to maintain performance for at least 500 mating cycles and has a wide operating temperature range of -55 to +100°C.
