Mini-Circuits’ model MBT-283+is a 50-Ω MMIC bias tee with high RF-to-DC isolation and low insertion loss from 1.5 to 28.5 GHz. Supplied in a surface-mount-technology (SMT) MCLP housing measuring 3.5 × 2.5 mm with 16-lead contacts, the RoHS-compliant bias tee is a good fit match biasing amplifiers and laser diodes. It features 47 dB typical isolation, 0.7-dB typical insertion loss, and 20-dB typical return loss across the full frequency range. It can handle as much as 1 W (+30 dBm) RF power and as much as 500 mA DC current at +35 V DC.
