Mini-Circuits’ Coaxial Highpass Filter Stops DC to 8.7 GHz

Mini-Circuits’ model ZXHF-K1162+ is a reflectionless coaxial highpass filter with stopband of DC to 8.7 GHz and low-loss passband of 11.6 to 30.0 GHz. Matched to 50 Ω in the stopband, the compact filter achieves typical stopband rejection of 6.9 dB from DC to 2.5 GHz and 13.6 dB from 2.5 to 8.7 GHz. Typical stopband VSWR is 2.70:1 from DC to 2.5 GHz and 1.80:1 from 2.5 to 8.7 GHz. The passband insertion loss is typically 2.8 dB from 11.6 to 20.0 GHz and 2.2 dB from 20.0 to 30.0 GHz. The passband VSWR is typically 2.0:1 from 11.6 to 20.0 GHz and 1.90:1 from 20.0 to 30.0 GHz. The RoHS compliant filter measures 0.68 × 0.60 × 0.39 in. (17.1 × 15.2 × 10.0 mm) and is equipped with 2.92-mm female connectors. At room temperature (+25°C), it can handle as much as 1.26 W in the passband and 0.25 W in the stopband. The patented filter is designed for operating temperatures from -55 to +105°C.
