Mini-Circuits’ model ZXLF-K173+ is a reflectionless lowpass filter (LPF) with passband of DC to 17 GHz and stopband extending past 35 GHz. Well suited for military, aerospace, and satellite-communications (satcom) applications, the compact patented filter terminates stopband signal energy internally in a compact housing measuring just 0.80 × 0.676 in. (20.3 × 17.17 mm) with 2.92-mm connectors. The RoHS-compliant filter exhibits 2.3 dB insertion loss in the passband from DC to 17 GHz and 3 dB through 18 GHz. Rejection of out-of-band signals is typically 25 dB from 25 to 35 GHz and 22 dB from 35 to 40 GHz. The VSWR is 1.40:1 from DC to 17 GHz, 3.0:1 from 25 to 30 GHz, and typically 5.8:1 from 30 to 35 GHz. The filter can handle typical signal power levels of 2 W in the passband and 30 mW in the stopband. It is designed for operating temperatures from -40 to +85°C.
